Man Eater

A traditional Old Time breakdown in D major, documented from Kelly Gilbert (1895–1991) of Franklin County, north-central Kentucky, who learned it from African-American fiddler Jim Booker of Camp Nelson — the same source behind “Lost Partridge” (#97) — recorded by John Harrod in 1978 and 1981.
