“Running in the White Oaks” (also known as “Running Through the White Oaks”) is a traditional old-time fiddle tune recorded by the African-American string band Gribble, Lusk & York (John Lusk – fiddle, Murphy Gribble – banjo, and Albert York – guitar) during field recordings made for the Library of Congress in September 1946.

I learned this tune as part of my 2025 goal to learn a tune a week by ear. I picked it up from David Bragger on this Old-Time Tiki Parlour YouTube channel.
