A traditional Old Time breakdown in G major, documented from Buddy Thomas (1935–1974) of Lewis County, northeastern Kentucky, recorded in 1974. The tune has an unusual structure: the A strain serves only as an introduction, played once, after which the pattern repeats as A’A’B rather than the standard AABB. Thomas’s recording appears on Traditional Fiddle Music of Kentucky, vol. 1 (Rounder 0376, 1997).
