Traditional American old-time waltz in D major, first recorded by the twin-fiddle Mississippi string band the Leake County Revelers (with fiddler Wil Gilmer) in April 1927, released on Columbia the following year. It was picked up quickly across the South and Midwest old-time scene, recorded by the Stripling Brothers (Alabama, 1934), Doc Roberts (Kentucky), Clark Kessinger (West Virginia), and Missouri fiddler Cyril Stinnett.
