A traditional Old Time breakdown in A modal, played in ADae tuning, documented from Perry County fiddler Luther Strong (1892–1962), recorded by Alan and Elizabeth Lomax in Hazard, Kentucky on October 18, 1937. The tune is structurally crooked. Strong’s recording is reissued on Music of Kentucky, vol. 2 (Yazoo 2014); Matt Brown also recorded a version on his debut album.
