This tune appears in White’s 100 Popular Hornpipes, Reels, Jigs and Country Dances for the Violin (Jean White, Boston, 1880). It is a 3/4 waltz in C major marked Tempo di Valse, with a contrasting Presto section. Despite borrowing the saraband name and triple meter, it has no structural or rhythmic relationship to the baroque dance form.
